SPA etiquette
  • Treatments will be guaranteed upon availability if booked in advance and confirmed by the hotel;
  • We are reserving only guaranteed appointments. An appointment can be guaranteed with deposit payment, credit card details or companies’ agreement;
  • We ask that you always allow enough time for your experience and arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment;
  • Late arrival for an appointment may not be honoured and will result in a reduced treatment time to be fair to other clients;
  • We recommend wearing comfortable, light clothing or a bathrobe;
  • Please note that swimsuits must be worn in all public areas. A robe and slippers are provided on request;
  • We recommend that no jewellery be worn at the spa. The management and staff accept no responsibility for the loss of money or valuables of any kind brought into the spa premises;
  • We recommend not to use strong perfumes before the treatment;
  • At the end of your treatment you will have time to change and prepare yourself to re-join the world, totally relaxed and at peace with your inner and outer being. We ask that you respect the privacy of other guests by speaking quietly. Please note that mobile phones must be switched off at all times within the spa area;
  • Guests with high blood pressure, a heart condition or who are pregnant or have other medical complications are advised to consult their doctor before signing up for any spa treatment. Please inform your therapist of any medical conditions;
  • Children are not allowed at the spa area unless they having a treatment and must be accompanied by an adult;
  • Male clients having a facial are advised to shave at least 3 hours before their treatment;
  • Please note that Hotel Jūrmala Spa is a non-smoking area.
  • Consumption of alcohol within the spa is prohibited. It is also advisable to avoid heavy meals prior to, or after any spa treatment.

Cancellation policy

  • All treatments can be changed or cancelled without any charge 72 hours before the appointment;
  • For failed cancellation the hotel has rights to demand penalty, which is equal 100% of a reservation’s summ;
  • Treatment prices are subject to change without notice;
  • Any unused portion of the spa package is non-exchangeable for another time.
